Lara Bell, of Channel 55, The Tube & her brother threw a surprise 60th birthday party for their mother, Bonnie, at the Majestic Metro, an eclectic old movie theatre turned event venue in downtown, Houston, TX. I came across an old friend of mine, one of my first jobs in PR with Kari Short & family, before I became an event photographer! The theme was very laid back and nice with hot dogs from James Coney Island and hamburgers & nachos. Popcorn stand and custom made photograph cookies. Then a presentation & slide show by Lara & her brother. Followed by dancing on the stage.
This was the best birthday surprise ever! Bonnie thought she was coming to a Dress for Success event!
